Genuine VAG TFSi Variable Valve Timing (VVT) Adjuster - 06F109088J

An unexpected issue that we have come across repeatedly over the years of working on VAG vehicles is when replacing the Cam chain and tensioner on EA113 engines is damage on the VVT unit on the EA113 engine. This issue is mainly on the earlier TFSi engines which used metal cam shaft adjuster rings. Please see the 2nd image in this listing which highlights the wear on the VVT unit.

06D109281D is the bolt (number 7 on the diagram) which secures the adjuster in place. This does not come with the adjuster, but can be bought seperately
